Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Optometrist to join our team. As an Optometrist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services to patients of all ages. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and patient-focused environment.

Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive eye examinations, including visual acuity tests, refraction, and ocular health evaluations
- Diagnose and treat various eye conditions and diseases
- Prescribe corrective lenses and provide fitting services
- Educate patients on proper eye care practices and answer any questions or concerns
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic medical record systems (Epic)
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in optometry and attend continuing education programs

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of ophthalmology and medical terminology
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems, specifically Epic
- Excellent understanding of ocular anatomy and physiology
- Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred
- Familiarity with medical coding systems for insurance billing purposes
- Ability to provide compassionate care to senior patients
- Strong sales skills to effectively communicate the benefits of eyewear options
- Proficient in taking vital signs and performing basic eye tests

Pay: $141.40 - $144.46 per hour
