Peters Nissan of Nashua is seeking a part-time receptionist/cashier with excellent customer service skills. We are seeking detail-oriented candidates with an upbeat personality. Duties for this position include, but are not limited to, answering multi-lined switchboard, customer service, cashiering, filing, basic accounting and appointment setting. Applicant must have excellent telephone manners, communication skills and computer experience. Experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right individual. Part-time hours to be discussed during time of interview. Peters of Nashua has been serving the area’s automotive needs since 1955. Greet and welcome all customers.
Receive cash, checks and credit card payments from customers and record the amount received on the repair order and/or counter ticket.
Make change accurately and issue receipts to customers.
Answer phones and direct customers to the proper department and follow up in a timely manner.
Handle customer complaints diplomatically and refer customers to the appropriate individual for resolution.
Operate switchboard telephone system.
Communicate with callers in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner, striving to minimize the amount of time customers spend on hold.
Assist the manager and service staff with various clerical duties as needed.
Be friendly, professional, courteous, and efficient when working with all customers and employees.
Familiarize yourself with department structures & internal procedures for assisting customers efficiently.
