Job Description:

Eleanor Young in Albany is seeking a friendly and organized part-time receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our organization, you will play a key role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth front desk operations.

Requirements:

  • Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
  • Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate staff members
  • Manage and organize the reception area, ensuring it is clean and presentable
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
  • Assist with scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars
  • Perform general administrative tasks as needed, such as filing, data entry, and photocopying
  • Provide information and assistance to visitors and staff

Qualifications:

  • No educational requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with email and office software
  • A positive and proactive attitude

Training:

We are willing to train the right candidate. Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role is a plus but not required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
