Peter Doran Lawn & Landscaping is Hiring a Landscape Laborer Near Minneapolis, MN

Are you looking to work somewhere where you are appreciated and have flexibility? Then the Peter Doran Lawn & Landscaping Team is for you. We are looking for a self guided, hard working and responsible landscape laborer to assist our talented landscaping crew.

This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working outdoors and have a passion for creating and maintaining beautiful landscapes.

Our Landscape projects are throughout the Metro Area.

Duties:
- Assist in the construction of landscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment and tools

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in landscaping and hardscaping is require.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy objects and working in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work well in a team environment

-Must have a MINIMUM of 2 years documented and verifiable PROFESSIONAL level landscape and/or hardscape Installation experience

-Be able to work in a fast paced team environment

-Must be able follow instructions

-Must not be afraid to ask questions

-Able to lift 80 lbs plus

Knowledge and experience with:

All hand tools: Shovels, wheelbarrows, rakes, etc

Light equipment knowledge a plus. Skidsteer, mini skid, excavator, truck trailers etc

Light framing and carpentry experience a plus

Planting shrubs and trees
Rock and mulch
Trenching and edging
Minor irrigation and drip
Pavers/flagstone/hardscape prep/install

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 60 per week

Benefits:

  • Paid time off

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 12 hour shift
  • No weekends

Experience:

  • Landscaping: 4 years (Required)

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (Required)
