POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Pricing Coordinator is a pivotal role within our organization. This role is primarily responsible for the accurate management of customer pricelists which comprise of weekly, contract, and retail ads. Furthermore, this position plays a key customer service role. The role demands a high level of attention to detail.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Monitor precise price trends through consistently reviewing and analyzing pricing compared to client agreements.

2. Conducting comprehensive analysis of sales data.

3. Analyze pricing data based on industry standards, previous sales trends, and competitors.

4. Conduct market research to learn more about competitor pricing for similar items.

5. Work with buyers and sales on pricing models to develop competitive pricing.

6. Request Promotional costs and pricing from buyers for specific timeframes related to customers Ad requests.

7. Manage Ad/Promo log to post confirmed Promotional requests.

8. Coordinate price list schedule, update system and send to customers in a timely manner.

9. Collaborate with Sales team to conduct review on accounts and develop strategy to increase customer purchasing volume.

10. Manage customer portals such as SVharbor, Itrade and Foodlink.

11. Entry of customer orders.

12. Coordinate direct drop sales between vendor, transportation, and customer.

13. Enter Purchase Orders (PO’s) and assist sales team as needed.

14. Develop customer relationships; solicit feedback and provide company management with recommendations to enhance quality of service.

15. Respond promptly to customer issues and address as necessary with Sales team or management.

16. Create and maintain accurate, accessible, and organized documentation.

17. Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

1. Education: Candidates should possess a 4-year college degree, or any equivalent and 2 years work related experience in Sales, customer service, or pricing.

2. Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, MS Word, Outlook, etc.)

3. Advanced Excel knowledge (Power Query, Advanced charting, Pivot tables, conditional formatting, V Lookups)

4. Understanding of market analysis and competitor pricing.

5. Skills in optimizing pricing strategies.

6. Effective communication and customer service skills

7. Self-motivated and willing to take initiative.

PREFERRED

Fresh produce industry experience.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Employee may have to lift, carry and move boxes and cartons up to 50 lbs. Work may require occasional driving for Food Shows or to meet with current and prospective customers.

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
