Overall Responsibility

The Case Taper position is responsible for palletizing finished cartons for product on the clean side of the processing plant. The Box Taper is responsible for the final inspection of the finished carton box. Duties include monitoring the date code on finished cases per customer specific requirements and monitoring for damaged or compromised product.

Key areas of Responsibility

• Stage materials for days processing including pallets, cardboard, and pallet trays
• Assist with labeling and staging of boxes or cartons as needed
• Palletize boxes per customer label
• Stack boxes neatly inspecting for any damage or compromise
• Monitor date code on finished cases per customer requirements

Qualifications & Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a processing environment preferred

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
• Frequent lifting up to 35-50 pounds
• Frequent repetitive reaching motion with both arms

• Ability to keep up in fast-paced environment
