Position Title: Strategy Manager

Position Location: 654 Richland Hills Drive, San Antonio, TX 78245

Summary of Duties: Develop business systems and technology roadmap. Work closely with services go-to market manager, services business analytics and customer data science managers to gather and leverage insights to drive: pricing, promotion, assortment changes, product recommendations, and reporting and cascading of critical exceptions to leadership. Provide technology requirements for developing digital products that are line / brand extensions to existing core business. Work with product managers, to define technology roadmap and monitor progress. Work with team to successfully develop strategic plans and execute tactical imperatives to support business growth. Leverage strong analytics and financial skills to drive measurable business results. Develop deep understanding of data architecture and schema, to own and deliver insights that drive strategy for business (including deep understanding of SQL schemas, PL SQL Scripts, executing complex data queries). Collect, maintain and update customer and business intelligence databases. Work directly with Customer Data Scientist and Business to prioritize, compile, analyze and distribute relevant customer and business reporting to centers of excellence, business and operations leadership. Use analytics tools like Tableau, Alteryx, SQL to analyze and understand business. Maintain comparative tracking of both company and competitors: services products, services offerings, customer trends and market factors, utilizing category review process to identify key factors affecting performance of assigned category(s); maintain and/or increase knowledge of company services ranges and gain specific experience related to assigned services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in creating, developing and implementing financial models, which manage assortment analysis and planning, product mix, pricing, gross margin, and promotional expenditures.

30% domestic travel required.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Information Management, Management Information Systems, Data Science, or related field of study and 5 years of progressive experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, product management or strategy-related work. Employer will accept a Master’s degree or equivalent in Information Management, Management Information Systems, Data Science, or related field of study and 1 year of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, product management or strategy-related work in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 5 years of progressive experience.

Applicants must have demonstrated experience with the following:

leading initiatives involving cross-functional teams to achieve business goals; SQL and other data tools (to include Tableau and Alteryx or equivalent); applying advanced Excel techniques including VBA and macros to demonstrate and manipulate business data; maintaining and reporting on KPIs using microstrategy and snowflake; creating, developing, and implementing financial models; and maintaining business and customer reporting, providing routine updates to key stakeholders based on insights.

The pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.

$124,634 - $163,400/year. Exact rate of pay will be based on position, location, and experience level.
