Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pet Bather to join our team. As a Pet Bather, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and grooming services to our furry clients. This is a physically demanding role that requires a love for animals and the ability to handle them with care.

Responsibilities:

- Bathe and groom pets, including DOGS, CATS, and other small animals

- Assist with nail trims, ear cleaning, and teeth brushing

- Handle animals with care and ensure their safety throughout the grooming process

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area

- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions about grooming services

- Follow grooming instructions provided by pet owners or groomers

- Monitor pets for any signs of distress or health issues and report them to the appropriate staff member

- Assist with other tasks as needed to support the overall operations of the facility

Skills:

- Strong customer service skills to provide a positive experience for pet owners

- Knowledge of basic pet grooming techniques and equipment

- Experience working with animals in a veterinary or pet care setting preferred

- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments safely and confidently

- Familiarity with different breeds and their specific grooming needs

- Basic knowledge of animal behavior and body language

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and team members

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a Pet Bather or similar role is preferred but not required

- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and stand for long periods of time

- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary
