PETADATA is currently looking to hire for the position of Senior TPF / Assembler Developer for one of their clients.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for participating in the development, maintenance, enhancement, and support of applications.

• Analyze and resolve bugs/errors accurately on time and provide required status reports.

• Understand business requirements to provide the technical design of computer software applications.

• Possesses programming expertise in standard programming languages to develop and maintain applications.

• Develop appropriate software code/packages and documentation according to standards.

• Support and troubleshoot computer systems as required, optimizing performance, resolving problems, and providing timely follow-up on all problems.

• Analyze provided requirements and come up with high-level and low-level design documents.

• Follow standards and methodologies in the development and implementation of computer software.

Required Skills:

• 7 years Required experience in zTPF Assembler, TPF-DF, TPF-C/C , ALCS (Airline Control System), and SABRETALK.

• Must have a good working knowledge of zTPF-GI or IBM Tool kit tools (Trace Log, Code Coverage, Performance Analyzer) and zTPF debugger.

• Experience in the airline domain of either check-in, Reservations, or Ticketing is highly preferred.

• Able to deliver under tough project timelines when in need.

• Experience in the end-to-end Software Development Life Cycle.

• Strong logical/analytical skills to address job-related problems.

• Must work simultaneously and interface with other teams and stakeholders.

• Airline crew management experience is a plus.

• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
