What you will be doing:

• Performing grooming services, delighting our neighbors and pets, including brushing, bathing and scissoring various dog breeds based on pet owner requests.
• Ensuring the wellness and safety of those in our care at all times while maintaining a clean, organized and professional work environment.
• Assisting customers and with store operations when not grooming and during early stages of store opening.

What we’re looking for:

• At least 1-2 years of professional grooming experience.
• Excellent grooming skills and knowledge of breed specific techniques.
• A passion for pets and the ability to create long-term client relationships.
• At least 18 years of age, able to lift 50lbs and stand for extended periods.

How it works:

• The standard arrangement is $15.00 per hour - OR - 50% of your grooming revenue, whichever is greater. You have the safety net of an hourly wage as our store grows and you build your business.
• Groomers keep all tips for pets they personally groom.
• Eligible for benefits after 90 days, including medical, dental and 401K.

• Groomers with an existing book of business may be eligible to earn a sign on bonus or more commission on clients that are identified in advance – let’s talk!

Job Type: Full-time, will consider Part-time

Schedule:

• 8-hour shifts, variable based on store needs.
• Store Hours are 8am – 8pm, Mon – Sat and 9am – 6pm Sunday.
• Some weekend and holiday schedules may be required.
