Must love animals, show compassion and care, and be able to handle all types of conditions (puppy, senior, aggressive, misbehaved, medical issues, etc).

* Minimum 3 Years Experience as a Professional Bather required

*Must have a great attitude, be punctual and reliable

*Must have good handling skills with duties that include bathing and fluff drying, deshedding, dematting, nail trimming, gland expression and cleaning duties, etc.

* Be able to lift medium to large size breeds (50lbs )

* Provide excellent customer service skills and communication skills

*Management team will mentor and collaborate to train you for success

Responsibilities:
- Provide grooming services to a variety of pets, including dogs, and cats
- Perform bathing, brushing, dematting and hygiene trimming according to client preferences and breed standards
- Trim nails, clean ears, and provide dental care as needed
- Ensure the safety and comfort of pets during grooming sessions
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming area
- Maintain healthy relationships with coworkers

Experience:
- Previous experience as a pet groomer or in a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of different breeds and their specific grooming requirements
- Familiarity with various grooming tools and equipment
- Experience with handling elderly dogs ( 10 years) and drying techniques to ensure safety throughout service
- Strong understanding of animal behavior and body language
- Experience in animal restraint/holding techniques

Skills:

-Speed Speed Speed: Looking for a bather who can wash 10 dogs in an 8 hour time frame without compromising the handling & quality of care for our pups.
- Heavy lifting: Ability to lift and carry pets of various sizes and weights (50lbs )
- Pet care: Knowledge of basic pet care practices
- Animal restraint: Proficiency in safely restraining animals during grooming procedures
- Animal handling: Ability to handle animals gently and confidently while ensuring their safety
- Animal care: Understanding of animal health and wellness, including recognizing signs of distress or illness
- Pet grooming: Proficient in various grooming techniques, including bathing, brushing, clipping, dematting, and hygiene clipping
- Dog training: Basic knowledge of dog training principles and techniques
