```Duties```
- Bathe and groom pets according to client specifications and breed standards
- Safely handle and restrain animals during bathing and grooming procedures
- Clean and maintain grooming equipment, tools, and work areas
- Assist with nail trims, ear cleaning, and teeth brushing as needed
- Monitor the health and well-being of pets during grooming sessions
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions

```Experience```
- Previous experience working as a pet bather or in a related role preferred
- Knowledge of different dog breeds and their specific grooming needs
- Familiarity with various grooming techniques, including bathing, drying, brushing, and clipping
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments with patience and care
- Strong attention to detail to ensure pets are groomed to client specifications
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members

Skills:
- Heavy lifting: Ability to lift and carry pets of various sizes (up to 50 pounds) as needed during grooming procedures
- Dog training: Basic understanding of dog behavior and training techniques to assist with handling during grooming sessions
- Customer service: Ability to provide friendly, professional, and knowledgeable service to clients
- Veterinary technician/assistant: Knowledge of basic veterinary procedures and ability to recognize signs of illness or injury in pets
- Animal restraint: Proficient in safely restraining animals during grooming procedures to ensure their safety and the safety of the groomer
- Pet grooming: Familiarity with different grooming styles for various breeds, including breed-specific cuts and trims
- Animal care: Understanding of basic animal care needs, including feeding, exercise, and hygiene

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 29 per week
