Pet First Veterinary Hospital is located in New Port Richey, Florida and has been serving the community since 2017. We are a full-service animal hospital providing veterinary care to dogs and cats and offer services such as routine medical, surgical, and dental care. We are mindful of each patients’ unique needs and we aim to utilize the latest advancements in veterinary medicine and constantly improve our standard of care. Every day, with dedication, we seek to use our skills, knowledge, and compassion to better serve our clients and their pets.
We are seeking a Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our growing team and help ensure we are providing those great experiences. When you join our organization as a Veterinary Technician, you gain access to a peer network of over 5000 individuals, CE allowance, and Learning & Development programs to help you meet your career goals.
Position Requirements:
- Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT) or the ability to transfer credentials from state to state.
- Associates degree in Veterinary Technology
- Experience with surgery prep, assisting, anesthesia monitoring, and post op recovery, required
