Job Description:
Working in professional pest management is so much more than just controlling pest problems. It's also about building relationships with customers and educating them on how to reduce pest problems in their homes or businesses. You as our Outside Sales Specialist you will be responsible to meet and work with existing and prospective clients by inspecting their properties to identify their individual needs. You will then consult with the clients about your findings and offer recommended services that Pest Solutions has to help the client and secure new business. You will manage job information through company provided technology. You will provide exemplary professional service to our clients and work toward building strong relationships and solving problems that will help them prevent future pest problems.
Job Requirements:
Conduct inspections and solve pest control problems through applications
Present proposals offering PSI services to solve clients issues and secure the sale
Physical ability to inspect areas such as attics, basements, crawlspaces
Seek out potential new clients to promote growth
Look for ways to add value to existing clients
Attend ongoing training and Department of Agriculture Re-Certification Classes
Maintain a clean organized company vehicle and comply with company guidelines
Operate vehicle safely and legally and according to company guidelines
Maintain and ensure proper inventory, use and storage of tools, equipment, and materials in company vehicle.
Qualification and Skills Requirements:
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate to your team and clients
Good basic math and measurement skills
Computer proficiency (Able to work with a tablet)
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Maintain a positive attitude and provide exceptional customer service
Ability to be self-disciplined and work independently
Team player
Detail-oriented
Safety conscious
Sales and/or customer service experience a plus but not required
Valid Driver’s License
