Perspective Therapeutics is Hiring a Project Manager, Radiopharmaceutical Production Near Somerset, NJ

Objective


The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating and tracking cross-functional activities, timelines, risks and budget related to drug manufacturing development projects. This role will establish strong working relationships across the internal team to manage the projects in accordance with organizational strategy and drug development functional objectives.  

Essential Functions

  • Provide leadership, direction, and coordination across functional areas to drive integrated delivery of drug development projects.
  • Actively and effectively manage the delivery of project goals in accordance with the program strategy (i.e., management of integration, scope, timeline, cost, quality, resources, communications, and risks).
  • Develop and manage detailed project timeline with a clear understanding of dependencies and critical path.
  • Partner with the team to proactively identify and document risks and issues within the project; work with the team to devise and implement effective risk management strategies.
  • Monitor project progress and recommend/make adjustments as needed to reach key milestones.
  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders, including the leadership team, about project status, risks/issues, budget and required adjustments.
  • Facilitate project meetings, prepare minutes for select meetings, and track action items and decisions.
  • Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Contribute to the best practices of project/program management to support the evolution of operations.
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments (production, quality, finance).

Education/Experience

 
  • High school graduation required; bachelor's or advanced degree preferred and Project Management Certification (PMP) a plus.
  • Practical or curriculum-based experience in basic project management techniques and software applications.
  • 7 years leading projects in the Pharmaceutical or Biotech industries.
  • Experience working within a functional area such as clinical, preclinical, CMC or regulatory affairs would be considered beneficial, as well as each drug development phase.
  • Experience with MS Office Suite required.

  • Ability to convey complex ideas in a simple manner to management and customers.
  • Ability to understand and communicate scientific or technical information.
  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills, able to work under strict timelines.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with judgment in method development/transfer processes.
  • Ability to work across multi-disciplinary groups and lead decision-making discussions.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, communication, and collaborative skills.
  • Demonstrated record of high productivity and results.
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.

  • Must be willing to work in a facility producing radioactive materials and requiring all employees to participate in safety programs designed to minimize potential and/or actual exposure levels.
  • May be required to sit or stand for long periods of 8 hours a day while performing duties.
  • Willingness to complete safety training within allotted timeframes, and work in a team-based environment.
