About the Role :
Personnel Services Unlimited is hiring candidates for a Material Handler opening! This 1st shift (7AM-3PM) is a full-time temporary position (lasting 3-4 months).
The manufacturer is located in Rutherfordton, NC.
Pay is $15.00 / HR.
Responsibilities Include :
- Ensure accurate inventory control and material handling for shipments, received items, and returns.
- Adhere to safety protocols and utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Follow work instructions for tasks such as handling returns and preparing reports.
- Maintain physical and electronic files, including systems like Oracle and SAP.
- Conduct cycle counts and produce required reports.
Qualifications :
- Education : High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Training : Inventory control skills preferred; PC and keyboard proficiency.
- Skills : Ability to work well in a team, good communication skills, flexibility.
- Experience : Minimum 1-year manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred; material handling, inventory control experience, and experience with powered vehicles are desirable.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions :
- Standing / walking is required.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Comfortable working in varying conditions, including exposure to dirt, machine coolant, greases, and oils.
