POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Quality Assurance Associate II, you play an important support role within the department, providing assistance to the Senior Quality Assurance Associate, (SQA). Assigned to a specific QA operational area, you contribute by demonstrating job instructions to new hires, addressing exceptions within the department, refilling supplies, assisting with errands, and other duties. Your role involves following instructions from the leadership team in your assigned area. A Quality Assurance Associate II is particularly valuable during peak times when there's an increase in volume and headcount, often requiring split shifts. During non-peak times, you engage in productive work to stay updated on processes.

1st Shift: 8:00 AM-4:30 PM (Peak Schedule Varies)

Pay Rate: $16.50 hourly

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the Senior Quality Assurance Associate (SQA) by demonstrating job instructions to new hires and assisting with exceptions, internal errands, and output.
• Collaborate with the SQA to ensure smooth operations in the assigned area.
• Follow instructions from the leadership team in the assigned area to execute tasks effectively.
• During non-peak periods, perform product inspection, gift packaging, and other quality assurance tasks.
• Play a vital role during peak periods when volume and headcounts increase, and split shifts are required.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and a sense of urgency.
• A high level of interpersonal and communication skills.
• Effective collaboration and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing demands.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs., and to stand for up to 10 hours.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.
