Overview:

I am seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to assist 2 - 3 days a week, 3-4 hours/day (2pm - 6pm) as an In-Home companion/caregiver.

You will provide essential care and support to two elderly individuals in their own home in Scottsdale. Male in beginning stages of Dementia.

Responsibilities:

- Provide companionship and emotional support

- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as meal preparation, laundry, and tidying up

Requirements:

- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred

- Knowledge of basic medical procedures and terminology

- Familiarity with working with individuals with dementia or other developmental disabilities is a plus

- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport

- Compassionate and patient demeanor

- First Aid/CPR certification is preferred

- Ability to maintain confidentiality

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 – 10 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• No weekends

Experience:

• Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)
