Bookkeeper for Personal Injury Law Firm

Dynamic Personal Injury Law Firm in El Segundo (LAX area) is looking for a talented, hardworking experience book keeper. The ideal candidate must have strong organizational, communication and QuickBooks skills. Candidates with a background in Personal Injury case management, secretarial position, or lien negotiations are highly preferred. 
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Manage the firm’s general and client trust accounts;
• Print checks to clients, medical providers, vendors and employees;
• Document and record all transaction details on firm’s QuickBooks account;
• Process account receivable/payable in a timely manner;
• Administering and maintaining company payroll;
• Collaborating with firm owner to prepare/review financial reports on a weekly basis;
• Create disbursement and verify insurance checks received;
• Deposit Checks in Firm’s General Account and IOLTA account;
• Manage firm’s credit cards and auto-pay;
• Monthly update/reconciliation of firm and client accounts. 

Requirements:
• Experience in accounting and/or bookkeeping for at least 7 years;
• Extensive experience with data entry, record keeping and computer operation;
• Expertise in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Products is a MUST.
