I am seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide assistance and support as I have a form of Muscular Dystrophy. I am a 26 year old female that enjoys spending time with friends and family, music and concerts, and my cat, Luna. I am also very passionate about my job as an educator and consider myself to be highly motivated and hard-working. I am looking for more assistants to join my team so I can continue to thrive and enjoy life, despite my diagnosis.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide assistance with mobility and transfers
- Administer medication
- Prepare meals
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as tidying up living spaces and doing laundry
- Accompany clients to appointments or social outings as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Personal Care Assistant or similar role is preferred but not required (paid training is provided)
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Reliable and trustworthy
