Person Centered Home Health Care LLC provides home and community-based services to individuals struggling with homelessness, physical and developmental disabilities, and mental health illnesses. As a Homemaker Caregiver, you will help individuals to maintain a safe and clean home and perform various housekeeping tasks such as meal preparation and companionship activities for clients in their homes.

Responsibilities and Functions

· Manage homemaking activities which includes cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry, and cleaning bathrooms

• Conduct planning and help with preparing meals and snacks according to the specific dietary requirements of the client.
• Wash dishes and clean the kitchen.
• Provide companionship which can include accompanying the client on walks, trips to social/recreational activities, assistance with hobbies
• Perform other housekeeping tasks as indicated in the care plan.
• Participate in in-service education programs and other related/required programs.
• Maintain a high level of client confidentiality

Requirements

· Must exhibit good, responsible, and respectful behavior

• Must be able to communicate with clients and carry out instructions
• Knowledge of housekeeping procedures
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Be able to share a warm and positive attitude with people served

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.64 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• No nights
• No weekends

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Caregiving: 1 year (Required)
• Homemaker: 1 year (Required)
