Job Description & Responsibilities

We're looking for a Copywriter with experience creating print and digital content that includes marketing sheets, whitepapers, video scripts, website content, and other content. You will be responsible for developing documentation geared toward Persistent Systems industry-leading Wave Relay® end users. To excel in this role, you should have a passion for technology, possess excellent communication and writing skills, and enjoy the opportunity to work with employees across various functions.

Position Responsibilities

• Work closely with subject matter experts to understand how our technology solves complex communications challenges for defense, government, and commercial customers
• Write creative, persuasive copy for a variety of customer-facing deliverables in both print and digital platforms
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to share new marketing perspectives and ideas
• Acquire subject knowledge by interviewing product developers and engineers, observing performance of production methods, referring to technical specifications, mod kits, blueprints, engineering illustrations, schematics, and trade journals

Job Qualifications & Experience

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Professional Writing, English, Communications, or a related degree that requires rigorous high level writing
• 1 year of experience creating media content for a technology company
• High proficiency with Microsoft Word
• Must be able to obtain United States security clearance

 Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Professional Writing, English, Communications, or a related degree that requires rigorous high level writing
• 3 years of experience creating media content for a technology company
• Experience with editing and formatting complex documents
• Experience building and maintaining a documentation library/repository
• Experience working in a product development and marketing organization

The base pay for this role can vary from $80,000 to $95,000 a year based on individual qualifications. Eligibility for yearly discretionary bonus.
