Additional Requirements:
STNA Train-the-Trainer Primary Instructor (PI) ODH Certification Preferred, or willingness and ability to

complete the TTT program immediately upon hire
Applicant must:

o (1) Possess a current, valid license issued under Chapter 4723. of the Revised Code To practice
nursing as a registered nurse a minimum of two years of nursing experience, at least one year of
which must be in the provision of long-term care facility services;

o (2) Have a minimum of two years of nursing experience , at least one year of which must be in
the provision of long-term care facility services. Experience in evaluating, in a long-term care
setting, the clinical skills of individuals providing care is considered experience in the provision
of long-term care facility services.

• Must submit an acceptable background check and complete all required personnel records
• Provide instruction of clinical skills to students in Skills Lab for future use in a clinical setting.
• Provide supervision at clinical site rotations as students perform clinical skills with the elderly.
• Maintain accurate and complete records for the state of Ohio as required.
• Follow the scope and sequence of the instructional curriculum as defined by the Ohio Department of Health.
• Basic first aid/CPR Certified.
