Perricone Juices is Hiring a Quality Control Technician Near Vero Beach, FL
Perricone Juices, a premium juice supplier located in Vero Beach, Florida is looking to hire multiple Quality Control Technicians to join our team!
A Quality Control Technician tests and inspects products at various stages of the production process.
- Pay: $19.00 per hour $500 SIGN ON BONUS!
- Available Shift Schedules:
11:00 PM to 7:30 AM 6 Days/week with Sundays Off
- Holiday work may be required based on production needs
Quality Control Technician are responsible for:
- Adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
- Completing logs/reports when production is operational for the day
- Verifying product meets accurate specifications
- Communicating effectively with employees, leads and members of management regarding status of Quality Control and any potential concerns
- Verifying accuracy of labels placed on products
- Performing analytical/micro testing
- Retaining samples for every batch and code
- Ensuring your work area is clean, chemicals and materials are stocked
- Ensuring proper use of equipment and safe acts to foster a culture of safety
Requirements:
- Arrive on or before scheduled start time to properly review duties for the day
- 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED
- Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Able to read, write and speak English
- Attention to detail
- Able to withstand cold and non-climate-controlled environment
- Successfully pass pre-employment screenings including a drug screen
- Able to stand for long hours at a time and must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Also climb a ladder up to 12 feet high with proper PPE (safety harness), training is provided.
- Prior Quality Experience preferred.
