General Contractor Project Manager

Location: Greenwood, Indiana

About Us:

United Trades of America is expanding in Greenwood, Indiana. We are seeking a General Contractor Project Manager to join our dynamic team and drive the successful completion of our projects.

Responsibilities

As a General Contractor Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects. Key responsibilities include:

1. Project Planning and Execution:

- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.

- Execute projects according to established plans, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with regulations.

- Thorough understanding of regulatory environment related to project scope.

2. Team Leadership and Coordination:

- Lead, motivate, and coordinate project teams, including subcontractors, suppliers, and internal staff.

- Foster a collaborative and goal-oriented team environment.

3. Budget and Cost Management:

- Develop accurate project budgets and cost estimates.

- Monitor and control project costs, ensuring efficient resource utilization.

4.Client Collaboration:

- Interface with clients to understand project requirements and expectations.

- Provide regular updates on project progress and address client concerns promptly.

5. Quality Assurance and Compliance:

- Implement and enforce quality control measures.

- Ensure compliance with industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations.

6. Risk Management:

- Identify and mitigate project risks to prevent delays and cost overruns.

- Proactively address issues as they arise to maintain project momentum.

7. Documentation and Reporting:

- Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.

- Generate regular project status reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience

- Proven experience as a Project Manager in general contracting.

- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and industry best practices.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

- Proficiency in Procore and Microsoft Office Suite.
