Job Description :

As a Rough Carpenter at United Trades of America, you will be an integral part of our construction team, responsible for executing various tasks related to the structural and framing aspects of building projects.

Responsibilities :

• Framing : Expertly frame walls, roofs, and floors according to project specifications and blueprints, using a variety of tools and techniques.
• Structural Installation : Install and secure structural components, including beams, columns, and supports, ensuring stability and compliance with engineering standards.
• Formwork : Construct formwork for concrete structures, following established guidelines and ensuring accuracy in measurements and placement.
• Material Handling : Safely handle and transport lumber, plywood, and other construction materials to and within the construction site.
• Team Collaboration : Work closely with other construction professionals, including project managers, architects, and subcontractors, to coordinate tasks and ensure project timelines are met.
• Blueprint Reading : Interpret and work from construction drawings and blueprints to determine specifications and requirements for rough carpentry work.
• Safety Compliance : Strictly adhere to safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a secure working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
• Tool Maintenance : Perform basic maintenance on tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.

Qualifications :

• Education : High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience : Proven experience as a Rough Carpenter with a strong portfolio showcasing framing and structural work.
• Skills : Proficient in rough carpentry techniques, including framing and formwork. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints.

Knowledge of construction materials and their applications. Familiarity with a variety of hand and power tools used in rough carpentry.

• Safety Awareness : Strong commitment to safety protocols with a keen awareness of potential hazards.
