Permobil is now looking for a Demand Planner.

The Demand planner is responsible for all forecasting activities to ensure appropriate inventory levels. This includes creating and maintaining forecast models, incorporating business intelligence and forecast information gathered through sales, operations and marketing inputs. Owner of demand plan for all purchased raw materials. Driver of continuous improvement of forecast accuracy to provide most reliable materials supply to production.

• Collaborate with cross functional teams to drive best in class demand planning process.
• Analyze, validate and consolidate multiple forecast input streams to generate a single version of the demand plan.
• Utilize strong analytical skills to develop a raw material level demand plan.
• Translate demand plan into purchasing forecast for buyers and suppliers.
• Meet regularly with cross functional teams to gather input for demand plan.
• Meet regularly with supply chain team to review raw material demand plan changes and recommend necessary mitigating actions to support material supply to production.
• Manage product life cycle demand planning.
• Lead new product introduction analysis and provide recommendations for initial forecast, purchase, and execute phase in/phase out demand.
• Analyze inventory on hand and consumption patterns to identify excess and obsolete inventory, and lead the disposition of those raw materials.
• Develop and maintain metrics for measuring forecast accuracy.
• Ensure demand plan accuracy through regular analysis of forecast against consumption.

• Strong MRP knowledge required (Microsoft Dynamics 365 is preferred)
• Highly analytical and self driven

• 5 years of work experience in inventory management and/or supply chain management in manufacturing environment and 2 years of work experience in a demand planning or demand analyst role
