Key Tasks

• Perform repetitive assembly operations to assemble seating andpositioning equipment according to specifications. Read and follow work order specifications viaElectronic Distribution of Orders (EDO) & order hard copies to build andassemble quality parts in an accurate and timely fashion.
• Operate band saw, grinder and portable power tools and basichand tools ; hammer, utility knife, tape gun ect.
• Locate materials required to assemble products.
• Operate power tools, solder iron, belt press, hammer, tape gun,screwdrivers ect.
• Clean, bag, tag, package and label product cases.
• Maintain Kanban System and participate in cycle counts
• Assemble kit bags.
• Communicate and work with department team members andappropriate departments regarding product issues.
• Assist and Cross train in other departments, as needed, toensure products are completed on time.
• Follow and comply with all safety, work rules, regulations, ISOprocedures, lean Initiatives and lean events.
• Maintaindepartmental housekeeping standards. Maintain 5’S Program.

Your Background

• Highschool diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Priorrelevant manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basicmathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide).
• Abilityto read a tape measure.
• Musthave the ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions written inEnglish.
• Mustbe familiar with portable power tools such as a drill, band saw, and grinder.
• Good oral andwritten communication skills in order to interact with employees andsupervisor.
