Permian Resources is Hiring a Treasury and Cash Accountant Near Denver, CO
Permian Resource Corporation (NASDAQ: PR) is currently seeking a Treasury and Cash Accountant. The Treasury and Cash Accountant will be responsible for recording the Company’s cash activity across various bank accounts with its general ledger system, bank reconciliations, and various journal entries relating to bank activity. The ideal candidate will have strong fundamental accounting knowledge, analytical and problem-solving skills, an organizational mindset, a strong work ethic, business acumen and communication, and be able to work effectively with multiple disciplines in a fast-paced environment.
General responsibilities include:
Recording of the Company’s manual wire and ACH outgoing payments, all incoming cash deposits (check batches, wires, ACHs), and intercompany bank transfers within its general ledger
accounting system.
Preparation, maintenance, and organization of supporting documentation related to cash activity.
Collaborate with operational accountants, Finance, Operations and other departments and personnel to gather support to be used when recording cash activity.
Complete monthly bank reconciliations and outstanding check lists.
Responsible for various monthly journal entries relating to cash activity.
Assist with identifying and implementing process improvement opportunities.
Perform special project and analysis.

Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent or relevant work experience highly preferred.
Microsoft Office advanced proficiency required (Excel, Word).
Quorum software experience useful, but not required.
Compensation & Benefits Information:
Salary range is approximately $55,000-75,000, depending on specific experience*
Other forms of compensation for this position include:
Target bonus of 15% of base salary and any eligible overtime wages (discretionary based on company and individual performance)
