Permian Resources is Hiring a Reservoir Engineering Analyst Near Midland, TX
Permian Resources (NYSE: PR) is currently seeking a Reservoir Engineering Analyst. Reporting to the Reservoir Engineering Lead, the Reservoir Engineering Analyst will provide reservoir engineering support for a variety of projects (as detailed below). The ideal candidate will have strong technical and communication skills and be able to contribute his/her expertise while working on multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
General Responsibilities
Build, run and QC initial economic evaluations for development decisions
Assist engineers in determining DC&F Capex, LOE, and Shrink/Yield assumptions for evaluation models and building supporting presentation materials
Inventory maintenance with evergreen updates to type curve assignments, well-level risking and other pertinent updates to reflect asset developments latest view
Coordinate update process with Corporate Reserves to keep NAV assessment updated & reflecting latest inputs
Work with multi-disciplinary team – Engineering, Geology, Land, Regulatory, Marketing, Operations
Optimize internal processes and surveillance methods
Support engineers and management with ad-hoc data gathering and analysis requests
Build tools and workflows to make routine department tasks efficient and enhance analysis
Perform and report basin activity surveillance
Develop and maintain high quality standards for department data
Handle multiple projects concurrently
Qualifications
3-5 years of oil and gas experience as an Engineering Technician/Analyst preferred
Associate or Bachelor Degree preferred
Must be self-motivated and capable of independently integrating within multi-disciplinary teams
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
Proficiency in ARIES and Microsoft Access/SQL; Spotfire skills preferred; ComboCurve experience preferred; ARC GIS experience a positive
