Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shop Manager to oversee our automotive repair shop. The Shop Manager will be responsible for managing daily operations, coordinating repairs, and ensuring excellent customer service. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits. Responsibilities: - Manage and supervise a team of automotive technicians and support staff - Coordinate the scheduling and completion of repairs and maintenance tasks - Ensure that all work is performed efficiently, accurately, and according to industry standards - Provide estimates for repair costs and communicate with customers regarding necessary repairs - Order parts and materials as needed to complete repairs - Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment - Oversee quality control to ensure repairs meet or exceed customer expectations - Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns in a professional manner - Train and mentor staff members to improve their skills and knowledge - Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment Requirements: - Previous experience in automotive repair or related field - Strong knowledge of auto estimating, painting, glass replacement, fabrication, assembly, and mechanical repairs - Proficient in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment - Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with customers - Strong leadership abilities with the capability to manage a team effectively - Ability to perform heavy lifting as required in an automotive repair setting We offer competitive pay based on experience and qualifications. Pay: $75,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
