Job Summary: As a Staff Counsel at Permasteelisa North America, you will be a key member of a project team challenged by the unique nature of every project we create. If you are the right candidate for this position, you will use your legal background to provide legal counsel to a wide range of legal matters and issues arising from fast paced business environment.

Responsibilities:
•Review/draft/negotiate design and construction contracts
•Support Project Managers in dispute avoidance/resolution
•Work with outside counsel on matters in litigation
•Provide support/legal counsel to other departments/projects as needed
Minimum qualifications:
•Juris Doctor
•Admitted to practice law in CT or other state. Knowledge of basic court procedures
•3 years’ experience. Strong communication skills are necessary
Preferred qualifications:
•Experience in construction industry
•Understanding of insurance and bonding principles
