Description
FUNCTION:
Non-Exempt. This position is responsible for assisting the Support Services Manager as a liaison between Operations and Admin for outside sales. Coordinates with transportation group to define schedules for client pick-ups; conventional mail distribution, inbound and outbound. Communicates with clients, brokers and generators, assisting to resolve any deficiencies in their transportation related paperwork
DUTIES:
· Preparation of manifests, land ban forms, labels and related documents for waste pickups.
· Assist Customers of Perma-Fix of Florida, Inc. (PFF) either by telephone or in person answering questions relating to waste disposal and their needs.
· Assist Manager, Support Services with coordination of material pick ups, transportation and support for direct sales and selected brokers.
· Assist sales managers with telephone and written correspondences with new and existing customers.
· Interact with Operations and Transportation personnel, providing assistance with special projects
· Maintain all direct customer files, to include correctness, accuracy
· Function as a back up for the receptionist, in his/her absence.
· Input broker, generator pricing and waste code information for all industrial Hazardous and Non-hazardous waste streams into PFF database
· Create profile re-certification forms and mail to generator in a timely fashion. Renew or cancel approved profiles as indicated by generator
· Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
· High school graduate or equivalent (college, vocational or job training in a technical field preferred).
· Attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Personality conducive to teamwork.
· Ability to follow written and oral directives.
· Facility quality assurance program admin level training
· Written and verbal communication skills.
· Displays professionalism.
· Ability to multitask.
· Capacity to apply analytical evaluations to assigned work.
· Computer experience in Waste Manager, Lotus 123, Approach, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.)
· Successful completion of PFF Basic Awareness Training
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Office environment, light lifting, bending and reaching Job requires sitting approximately six to seven hours per day.
