Our Associate Clinical Director responsibilities include some of the following:ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Assists the Clinical Director in overseeing the clinical program by providing leadership, management, and clinical consultation to Perimeter Behavioral of Missouri Treatment Team. Monitors and directs operations of the clinical program to ensure that policies and procedures are followed, that goals and objectives are met, and that services and projects are accomplished efficiently and effectively. Directs the planning, development, implementation, supervision, and evaluation of the clinical programs, staff, and services. Works closely in conjunction with the Medical Director and DON. The Associate Clinical Director is required to maintain standards in line with federal and state regulations, as well as successfully maintain compliance with CMS and Joint Commission standards. Psychosocial assessment of new patients; developing an update or detailed reassessment of the patient

  • Responsible for leading and managing multi-disciplinary team meetings to review client caseload, treatment, concerns, and recommendations; reviews and approves progress notes
  • Demonstrates the ability to fill in for the Clinical Director as needed as a member of Executive Leadership, i.e. attends meetings, prepares reports, and keeps department policy and procedures current. Participates in Quality Management activities to include staff development
  • Demonstrates the ability to serve as a liaison with issues of clinical importance between the Chief Executive Officer and the Professional Staff. Is also able to provide detailed information about procedures or treatment to family and other caregivers
  • Demonstrates the ability to provide direct clinical services to include assessments, evaluations, therapy (to include individual, family, and group), consultation with outside agencies and families, and crisis intervention. Can document progress notes of services rendered and stay within established timelines of services provided
  • Demonstrates the ability to oversee and work closely with the Continuum of Care staff to provide an effective continuum of care services to include the pre-admission screening of referrals for admission, assigning those accepted to the appropriate primary therapist, and a smooth transition process
  • Demonstrates the ability to teach and supervise, both individually and as a group, licensed and non-licensed clinicians to include support and direction on the delivery of services and documentation of services
  • Demonstrates the ability to conduct weekly Clinical Staff Meetings, Discharge Planning Meetings, and professional supervision either individually or in a group setting
  • Demonstrates the ability to attend and lead Master Treatment Planning Meeting and Special Treatment Team meetings as indicated
  • Demonstrates the ability to maintain a professional and productive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that promotes cooperation and teamwork with co-workers, supervisors, patients, and visitors
  • Demonstrates the ability to adhere to the professional code of ethics and the organization’s policies/procedures, to include confidentiality, patient rights, and continuing education
  • Demonstrates the ability to recognize, investigate and report suspected abuse and neglect according to policy, procedure, and law
  • Communicates clearly and accurately the philosophy, goals, and purposes of Clinical services. Perform other duties as assigned or directed by supervisor
  • Ability to provide clinical and procedural training to new employees and clinical staff
  • Demonstrates the ability to lead and conduct chart audits to be in compliance with state and accreditation requirements
  • Demonstrate the ability to supervise intradepartmental teams
  • Demonstrate the ability to provide customer service (complaint resolution and conflict mediation) to residents and external team members
Please apply if you have the following qualifications:1.* AGE *At least twenty-one (21) years of age.
  • EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
PLPC, LPC and/or MSW, LCSW licensed to practice by the Missouri Licensing Board and remain active with all annual licensing requirements.
Minimum of five years clinical experience in the delivery of treatment services to children, adolescents, and families, including at least three years supervisory experience preferred.
A minimum of at least one year of clinical and/or supervisory experience in a residential setting is preferred.
Considerable knowledge of psychiatric, psychological, and substance abuse/dependency services and programs.
  • * CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS*
  • Valid driver’s license
  • LPC, PLPC and/or LCSW, MSW fully or provisionally licensed to practice by the Missouri Licensing Board and remain active with all annual licensing requirements
  • LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and policy/procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports, correspondence, and document client behavior. Ability to speak effectively before groups of clients or employees of an organization
  • MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • * PHYSICAL DEMANDS* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move a minimum of 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distant, and peripheral vision, color and depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. The employee may occasionally be required to physically restrain clients, using authorized restraint procedures as a last resort for protection of client and staff
  • * WORK ENVIRONMENT* The work environment for this position is a residential facility setting. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be exposed to clients who may ask inappropriate personal questions, display socially unacceptable personal behaviors, use profanity and sexually explicit phrases, make insulting remarks or threats regarding appearance, age, sex, or race, and exhibit defiance, dishonesty, and assaultive or self-destructive behaviors. The employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions and may be subject to occasional local travel as required by facility needs. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate
  • * MENTAL REQUIREMENT* Ability to exercise self-control in potentially volatile situations. Must be able to work and concentrate amidst distractions such as noise, conversation and foot traffic. Must be flexible and able to complete multi-tasks without overwhelming frustration
  • Additional Requirements: Successful completion of CPR and Handle with Care
  • Schedule: Seeking FT Monday-Friday with some weekend availability to include an on-call rotation
