Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Solar Consultant to join our team. As a Solar Consultant, you will play a crucial role in promoting and selling solar energy solutions to residential and commercial customers. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for renewable energy and sales to make a positive impact on the environment while earning competitive compensation.
Duties:
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers and target markets
- The ability to close preset appointments
- Educate customers on the benefits of solar energy and our products/services
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective customers
- Customize solar energy solutions based on customer needs and requirements
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution
- Negotiate contracts and close sales deals
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in solar technology
Requirements:
- Proven experience in energy sales, preferably in the solar industry
- Strong knowledge of the solar market, including government incentives and regulations
- Demonstrated success in outside sales or technical sales roles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively negotiate and close sales deals
- Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) is highly desirable
- Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM software is a plus
- Multilingual capabilities are an asset
