Founded in 1998, Performance Services (PSI) is a design and construction firm specializing in constructing and renovating education and government facilities utilizing guaranteed energy savings (performance contracts) and the design-build procurement method. The company is a leading design-builder for high-performing learning and working environments, including solar, water, and smart city infrastructure improvements for cities and towns. Headquartered in Indianapolis, the company has a presence in 15 states. 

PSI is looking for an Architect to join our Design-Build team in Ilinois (Lombard). Ideally, we are targeting someone with 3 years of experience in architectural design. Preferably working in the education or municipality markets, but we are open to other areas of experience.

This individual will be responsible for supporting and actively participating in the production efforts of our Design-Build projects. 

DUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Architectural

• Use AutoCAD and REVIT in architectural
• Execute the production efforts on projects/designs.
• Support program development.
• Coordinate and assist with "red lines".
• Conduct code research and
• Create and obtain construction document drawings and site
• Interpret hand sketches into CAD drawings or BIM Model.
• Assisting in development of presentation materials / graphics, marketing materials and proposal documents.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience

• Bachelor's in architecture.
• Experience and knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit
• Experience interpreting hand sketches into CAD
• Minimum of 3 years commercial building design
• Experience in successfully handling multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience and knowledge of building construction
• Photoshop, Illustrator, and other visualization software a plus
