Performance Personnel Services of Pensacola is Hiring a Fire Sprinkler Technician helper Near Huntsville, AL
This position is considered a trainee who is learning the mechanics of sprinkler system installation under the guidance and direction of a Sprinkler Fitter.
Responsibilities include:
- Site clean-up
- Unloading, staging, and distributing work material to other employees at a job site
- Cut and thread pipe
- May install and test fire sprinkler systems under the close guidance of a Sprinkler Fitter
Successful candidates must possess the following:
- Clean background and be drug free.
- Dependability
- Ability to follow verbal work instructions/directions
- Ability to follow through on assigned tasks
- Show initiative to learn the skills of the trade
- Ability to read labels, signage and directions along with basic math computation skills
- Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record in case required to drive a company vehicle
- Reliable transportation
- Construction trade experience, demonstrated mechanical skills or related training are preferred.
