Performance Personnel is recruiting for a forklift operator. This assignment offers an attendance and retention bonus as well as an excellent temp to hire opportunity.

Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other heavy machinery to move and stack materials
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper placement and securing of items
- Perform shipping and receiving duties, including verifying and documenting incoming and outgoing shipments
- Utilize pallet jacks and lift trucks to transport materials within the warehouse or production area
- Perform order picking and packing tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety guidelines and OSHA regulations

Skills:
- Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and lift trucks
- Strong mechanical knowledge to perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory tracking and order fulfillment
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure accurate handling of materials
- Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or operating machinery
