Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as a Home Health Nurse/LVN. As a Home Health Nurse/LVN, you will provide essential care and support to patients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence, safety and improve their quality of life. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others. We offer paid training and more than competitive rates! Long-term employment with benefits available after 60-days of employment. Benefits Include: Medical, Dental, Vision, LTD, STD, Life and 401k.
Rates: $90-$235, plus mileage (hourly rates may apply)
Duties:
- Assess and Chart observations of the patient's condition at each visit.
- Administer Physician-Ordered Medication.
- Access peripheral/central lines to flush medication and/or Dress/Redress wounds and assess the healing process.
- Provide education to patients and families on proper techniques and procedures according to the patients care plan.
- Coordinate and Communicate with Physicians regarding Care Plans.
- Monitor and report any changes in patient's condition or behavior to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Make recommendations regarding supplies, tools and devices to improve the patients quality of life.
Experience:
- Three years of experience as an RN or LVN in a clinical setting
- Professional appearance and clear communication skills
- Current Registered Nurse or LVN license
- CPR Required
- KanTime preferred experience
- Current Texas Driver's License
- Ability to follow Physicians orders within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act
