Performance Health is seeking a Manufacturing Project Engineer to join our team in Akron, OH. In this role, you will be responsible for development, planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of the manufacturing of products within area of assigned responsibility by performing the following duties.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains project design control documentation. Follows established procedures for Engineering Team.
• Reviews product design and installation for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications
• Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems
• Identifies and resolves problems related to current manufacturing processes
• Develops and researches new processes and products to improve processes and increase efficiency
• Selects materials and components that are most effective and cost efficient to keep the company at a competitive edge
• Performs other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• 3-5 years of engineering experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and AutoCAD
• Ability to operate Mill, Lathe, and Grinder
• Extrusion Manufacturing experience a plus
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds

• This is a full-time position with a base salary range of $90,000-$105,000 plus benefits.
