Performance Food Group is Hiring a Warehouse order selector Near Gardiner, ME

Job Description

We Deliver the Goods :

  • Pay is $20 / hour and will have the ability to earn incentive pay, up to 30%.
  • Schedule is Sunday - Thursday starting at 3pm until finish

Position Purpose :

Warehouse associates are the foundation to our company's success. They work actively, safely, and independently to maintain the efficient flow of products through our distribution process, while ensuring quality standards.

Primary Responsibilities :

The Each Order select orders, packages items, and monitors inventory levels within the warehouse. Directs, stocks, selects, and replenishes products.

Responsibilities may include, but not limited to :

  • Selects products in accordance with printed customer orders and delivery sequence.
  • Consolidates merchandise into product containers and transfer to assigned locations.
  • Directs extraneous inventory to its appropriate location.
  • Ensures sufficient inventory to accommodate routine and / or special demands.
  • Maintains orderly workstation; return supplies and merchandise to assigned locations.
  • Follows all preferred work methods, safety policies and procedures per company guidelines.
  • Ensures work area is safe and report any unsafe conditions and / or acts immediately.
  • Verifies and scan proper location of products.
  • Monitors existing stock and transfer items where needed.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma / GED or Equivalent

Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position

Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift Able to lift, stack, and / or pull products off shelves, as well as replenish product, from various heights weighing between 10-35 pounds and generally up to between approximately 60 and 90 pounds, depending on the location, throughout shift

Able to work in multi-temperature environments, i.e., cooler, freezer and dry

Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check

Preferred Qualifications

High School Diploma / GED or Equivalent 1 years of warehouse and / or distribution work experience using a motorized pallet jack or forklift

Foodservice distribution or related industry experience
