We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles or machinery. The Mechanic will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our equipment, vehicles, and machinery.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect vehicles, equipment, or machinery thoroughly to identify issues and assess their condition.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Perform repairs, adjustments, or replacements of parts to restore proper functionality and performance.
• Carry out routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid top-offs.
• Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot complex problems and determine the most effective repair solutions.
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work, including parts used, labor hours, and costs.
• Stay up-to-date with automotive and machinery technology advancements to effectively diagnose and repair modern systems.
• Communicate with customers or team leads to explain repair recommendations, provide cost estimates, and address any questions or concerns.
• Ensure all repairs and maintenance tasks comply with safety regulations and guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including tools, equipment, and workspace.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and stay current with industry trends.
• Assist in ordering, receiving, and organizing parts and supplies needed for repairs and maintenance.
• Support in mentoring and guiding junior mechanics or apprentices when necessary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; formal technical training from a vocational school or certification from a recognized automotive or machinery program is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Mechanic, with a strong working knowledge of vehicle or machinery systems.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, hand tools, and specialized equipment.
• Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex issues.
• Strong attention to detail and a systematic approach to repairs and maintenance.
• Effective communication skills to interact with team members and clients.
• Physical strength and stamina to handle the demands of lifting heavy parts and working in various positions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Willingness to adapt to changing technologies and industry trends.
