Performance Toyota, in Cincinnati, Ohio, is looking for a Used Car Technician for immediate hire! As a Used Car Technician / Used Car Mechanic / Used Vehicle Technician, you will earn between $35,000 and $75,000 a year, based on experience and skillset!* In addition to the employee benefits included below, we are also offering a $10,000 sign-on bonus - take advantage of this added offer and apply now!** 

As a Used Car Mechanic, you will diagnose, repair, maintain and service pre-owned domestic and foreign vehicles. Technician work ranges from performing basic service and maintenance to advanced vehicle repairs. Our ideal Used Car Technician should possess the mechanical skills that cover this range. You should also work well with others, provide stellar customer service, and be organized and efficient in the workplace.

Position Hours:

• • • • Monday - Friday 7am to 5pm
      • Saturday 7am to 3pm
      • Closed on Sunday

Bonus Pay Levels:** 

• • • • $10,000.00 – ASE Certified Master Technician with L1 – Advanced Engine Performance
      • $7,500.00 – ASE Certified Master Technician
      • $5,000.00 – ASE Technician

Responsibilities

Used Car Technician:

• • • Diagnose vehicles based on observational and mechanical testing.
    • Provide the Service Manager with detailed estimates for repairs and replacements.
    • Repair vehicles based on diagnosed issues and repair estimate.
    • Test Drive Vehicles after repairs are complete to ensure mechanical soundness and determine whether any other problems exist.
    • File appropriate documentation on every repair.

Qualifications

Used Car Technician:

• • • High school diploma/GED required.
    • ASE certifications preferred but not required.
    • 3 years of automotive repair experience
    • Knowledge of tools and equipment required to perform all repairs.
    • Ability to operate diagnostic tools required.
    • Valid Driver's license with safe driving record
    • Substance screening is required of all Performance Toyota employees.
