POSITION SUMMARYMaintain a perpetual inventory record of material, supplies and other general stock items for the Production Facility.

This position is responsible for all departmental shipping, receiving, and inventory related duties. In addition, this position will maintain electronic record of material received, inventory on hand, and inventory used in order to up hold an acceptable level of physical inventory necessary to carry out manufacturing activities or inventory available for sale.

Ensure compliance with established internal control procedures. This position requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and previous related warehouse, order picking, and production cycle count transaction experience.

Essential Functions Statement(s)Receive incoming material, ensure correct documentation and log data in a computerized database.

Classify, label, pack / unpack, and store all items for future use.Report shortages, overages and all inventory levels for replenishment.

Ensure material is ready and available for production and / or sale when needed.Maintain accurate computerized records of inventory levels and location for easy retrieval.

Accurately and timely process all sales orders and / or departmental request orders using various electronic databases.Communicate with department managers and sales teams on inventory levels and locations.

Verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipments.Prepare items for shipment. Once shipped, ensure the proper documentation and computation of all shipments.

Investigate cycle count variances to identify and resolve causes of inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.Work productively, efficiently and effectively with initiative and drive under tight deadlines and pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality.

Assist in all other areas within the department as deemed necessary.Develop and maintain positive working relationships with other team members within the department and throughout the organization.

Regular and prompt attendance at work is a primary function and requirement of this position.POSITION QUALIFICATIONSEducationHigh School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)ExperiencePrevious related warehouse, order picking experience and production cycle count transaction experience preferred;

Computer SkillsComputer literate in a Microsoft Windows environment.Microsoft Outlook Basic level. Must have the ability to perform functions such as composing, sending, forwarding and replying to incoming e-mail, attaching computerized files, and utilizing calendar and task reminders.

Microsoft Word Basic level. Must have the ability to perform functions such as composing, editing, naming and saving documents, formatting text, and printing.

Microsoft Excel Basic level. Must have the ability to perform functions such as creating a spreadsheet, formatting a spreadsheet, using the formula bar, and calculating numbers.

Accurate 10-Key by touch, alphanumeric.Accurate typing skills, approximately 30 words per minute.General knowledge of how to use a calculator, scanner, copy machine, fax machine, printer, telephone and various standard office equipment.
