About the Role:
The Facility Manager will plan, direct, or coordinate the operations of public or private sector organizations. The primary responsibilities for this position will be formulating policies, managing daily operations, planning the use of materials, and human resources.
Various responsibilities of this role include:
- Review financial statements, sales or activity reports, or other performance data to measure productivity or goal achievement or to identify areas needing cost reduction or program improvement.
- Direct and coordinate activities of businesses or departments concerned with the production, pricing, sales, or distribution of products.
- Direct administrative activities directly related to making products or providing services.
- Prepare staff work schedules and assign specific duties.
- Monitor suppliers to ensure that they efficiently and effectively provide needed goods or services within budgetary limits.
- Direct or coordinate financial or budget activities to fund operations, maximize investments, or increase efficiency.
- Coordinate system repairs and monitor system performance.
- Maintains required documentation, reporting and data on a timely basis.
- Promotes facility opportunities for added services and customer benefits.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Facility Management or related fields.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in facilities management.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams from the field to leadership.
- Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, automation and HVAC systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills: solutions minded.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
