Position : LegalCashier

Location : Nottingham United Kingdom WorkingHours : Fulltime 35 hours per week Monday toFriday 9 am 5pm

RoleOverview : We are seeking a talented and proactive LegalCashier to join our clients dynamic team. In this role you willplay a pivotal part in ensuring the smooth financial operations ofour firm.

From inputting financial entries to conducting month andyearend duties you will have a handson role in supporting ourcolleagues and clients.

KeyResponsibilities :

  • Inputtingall financial entries into the accounts database and maintainingledgers
  • Performing month and yearendduties including report building anddistribution
  • Handling VAT returnsquarterly partial exemption calculations and other payments toHMRC
  • Reconciling bank statemententries and thirdparty supplieraccounts
  • Processing electronic andcheque payments
  • Occasionalattendance on clients directors and thirdparties
  • Conducting efilingtasks

Requirements

  • 2or more years of experience in a similar legal finance role orequivalent experience
  • High attentionto detail and accuracy
  • Excellenttime management skills
  • Strongorganizational abilities and the ability to prioritizetasks
  • Effective communication skillsand the ability to plan dailyworkloads
  • Selfmotivated with adesire to achieve professional and personal developmentgoals
  • Knowledge of SRA AccountsRules and VAT principles
  • Proficiencyin Microsoft Excel Word and Foxit PDF Editor(desirable)
