Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Crematory Operator. As a Crematory Operator, you will play a crucial role in providing respectful and dignified cremation services to our clients. This position requires mechanical knowledge, the ability to perform heavy lifting, and familiarity with funeral directing practices. Experience operating industrial equipment is also highly valued. Responsibilities: - Operate cremation equipment and ensure proper functioning - Prepare and process deceased individuals for cremation - Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines during the cremation process - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the crematory area - Collaborate with funeral directors to ensure smooth operations and timely cremations - Complete necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and efficiently Skills: - Mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain cremation equipment - Ability to perform heavy lifting, as some tasks may involve moving deceased individuals - Familiarity with funeral directing practices and procedures - Experience operating industrial equipment is highly preferred - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols - Excellent communication skills to work effectively with funeral directors and other team members We offer competitive compensation for this position, commensurate with experience.
