Job Overview:

The warehouse lead operator steps in to oversee the administrative and operational functions of the warehouse in the absence of the Warehouse Manager. This individual is responsible for directing the activities of the warehouse operations staff to ensure that the team is aligned on organizational and site-specific objectives. The warehouse lead is accountable for the overall performance of the operation including safety, quality, accuracy, and productivity while the Warehouse Manager is out of the facility.

Job Duties:

In this position, you will perform various warehouse activities which include but not limited to:

· Assist warehouse team with receiving inbound containers, LTL shipments, return goods, and other miscellaneous parcel deliveries and store in appropriate warehouse locations

· Pick, process, pack, and ship all orders accurately

· Coordinate, oversee and assist with kitting projects for Perfect Aire’s various product lines

· Process product returns and claims with required documentation working in conjunction with the logistics and credits teams

· Assist and coordinate facility cycle counts in conjunction with warehouse manager to validate location accuracy as well as identify damages to product and/or equipment

· Engage in coaching, counseling, and development of warehouse operations associates

· Oversee and coordinate receipts, inventory slotting, accuracy and same-day fulfillment of all customer warranty and replacement part orders, working in conjunction with Perfect Aire’s part specialist

· Interface with corporate partners in supply chain, customer service and accounting, to identify opportunities and resolve issues

· Support all facility audits with the Warehouse Manager and Director of Supply Chain

· Working with the Warehouse Manager, monitor daily performance of all operations associates to ensure quality standards are being met, the needs of our customers are being met, regulatory compliance, and that everyone is working safely to achieve company objectives

· Operation of forklift, clamp, powered pallet jacks and any other warehouse equipment to perform daily warehouse functions

· Adhere to safe lifting, safety, and other warehouse procedure

· Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment ensuring locations and aisles are organized and free of debris

Requirements:

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications

· Self-directed and able to work in a dynamic & evolving environment

· Ability to work effectively in cross functional teams

· Team player attitude

· Proven work experience in a warehouse setting

· Organized and attention to detail

· Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required

· Familiarity with the use of hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other necessary warehouse equipment

· Forklift certification preferred, including use of a clamp machine

· Good working knowledge of warehouse management systems

· Solid communication skills and inventory reconciliation skills

· Physical stamina and dexterity necessary for the work; ability to lift or move at least 50 lbs., and up to 150 lbs. with assistance
