POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Project Manager is the Key person fully responsible for the coordination and management of a
project from award to close-out.
The Project Manager models and acts in accordance with DHRG's mission, vision, core values, leadership
competencies, and norms.
The following key accountabilities ensure the critical success of this position:
60% Coordinate and be accountable for all day-to-day operations and communication to ensure
timely completion of the project and within budget.
· Ensures timely initialization and completion of Contract Routing Process
· Participate in Post Award with complete understanding of project to delegate any necessary
functions
· Delegate buyout of subcontractors and materials and hold accountable for deliverables
· Delegate tasks that correspond to Ops, Project Engineering, Administration and Accounting
· Initiate Preconstruction meeting
· Weekly project coordination
· Project Close Out
· Post Construction Meeting
25% Measure and monitor all project costs (Cost Management)
· Manage variance reports
· Invoice approval
· Manage Change Orders
· Billing
· Production reporting
· Revenue forecasting
5% Client Relationships
· Client outreach and communication
· Relationship building
5% Personal Development for Advancement.
· Negotiation skills
· Leadership – take initiative, delegation
· Accountability
· Increase personal effectiveness/productivity

· Development/mentoring of departmental peers

Education:
· Degree in Construction Management
· Degree in Engineering
· Higher National Diploma/ Higher National Certificate
Professional Qualifications and Experience:
· 5 to 7 Years’ experience in Project Management
· 3 to 5 Years’ experience in the Concrete Construction field
· Contract Language Review and Analysis
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· Understand Scheduling software
· Ability to forecast monthly revenue
· Ability to develop estimates for change order work
· Ability to analyze Variance Reports for cost controls
Languages
· Fluent in written and spoken English. Bilingual preferred.
