IT Security Engineer position open in the Upstate of SC. Direct hire, hybrid position for an experienced Cyber Security professional with enterprise security program experience.

In this role, you will help guide and implement security initiatives and policies across the organization’s IT environment. This includes overseeing and assessing current IT security measures through audits, simulated threat testing, and remaining up to date on modern IT security threats and solutions.
Requirements:

• 5 years IT experience, with a focus on cyber security
• Security Monitoring and Intrusion Detection
• Security Assessments
• Incident Response
• Microsoft Active Directory and Azure Active Directory
• Microsoft Defender and Defender Advanced Threat Protection
• Experience using security tools (i.e., MDR, Splunk, Nessus, etc.)

Preferred Skills:

• Cloud Security Experience (AWS, Microsoft, etc.)
• Firewall Administration ( Fortinet, Juniper, etc.)
• Network Administration
• Programming ( Python, Perl, etc.)
•  GIAC Security Essentials certification (GSEC)
